Access to prescription data is limited to Buena Vision Optical staff directly involved in processing your order. Any such third party is contractually obligated to use your prescription data only for order fulfillment and to protect it accordingly.
How We Store and Protect It
Prescription data is stored within our order management system (Shopify), which uses industry-standard encryption and access controls. We do not store prescription data in unencrypted formats or in systems outside our order management platform.
Retention
We retain prescription data for as long as your order record is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to support warranty claims, remakes, or customer service inquiries, consistent with our general data retention practices described in Section 6. You may request deletion of your prescription data at any time by contacting us, subject to any legal retention obligations.
